Booker T Hospitalized Over the Weekend, Will Be Miss Raw Pre-show Tonight

Tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw is going to have to get by without Booker T’s “Shucky-Ducky-Quack-Quack moment of the night. 

Unfortunately, some troubling news has been released about Booker T’s health from this past weekend, and there is little information heading into tonight’s Raw.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, Booker T was hospitalized over the weekend for some kind of health issue that hasn’t been reported yet.

The WWE Hall of Famer is out of the hospital and resting at home, but that makes it a guarantee that he will be missing tonight’s pre-show before Raw on the WWE Network.

The information about his status came from his wife Sharmell’s Instagram account. She posted the following about Booker T’s condition after what seemed to be a scary weekend:

It was recently announced that Booker T was returning to the ring in August for a tag team match with Tommy Dreamer, but depending on the seriousness of his health that may be canceled as well.

As of this writing, there is no update on when Booker T will return to WWE programming, but there is bound to be more information now that the word is out that he’s at home.
