Nikki Bella has been out of a WWE ring since October. A lot has happened since then as everyone is aware. Brie Bella retired. Daniel Bryan retired. The WWE Divas division has been rebranded.

It has been a long fought road to get to July where she would learn the future of her wrestling career, but it is confirmed that she will be returning to the ring.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Nikki Bella has resumed training at the WWE Performance Center this week, but there is still not a solid timetable for her return since she “just” got back into the ring.

However, the expectation going into her training is that she will be missing “Summerslam,” but there is no reason to believe that Nikki wouldn’t be back in September at some point.

Since WWE is now under the brand extension, there is the question of where Nikki Bella would go. On paper, you’d think she’d return as a face, but there is just no way to tell given how much heat she had last year.

It seems like Nikki Bella would fit better on SmackDown to provide veteran depth to the roster while also giving Becky Lynch a top heel to work with to build her resume.

So you think Nikki Bella should go to Raw or SmackDown?
