The Lass Kicker is one of WWE’s top female performers. There is just something about Becky Lynch that she ups her game by a few notches in big pressure situations. She arguably had the best performance during her Wrestlemania match with Charlotte and Sasha Banks.
Recently, Lynch spoke with Ashley Benson of XObenzo.com. She discussed the progress of the Women’s division, her workout regiment, and much more.

What do you feel is the biggest pressure a woman in the industry faces?
“Many people felt as though the women’s match was just a ‘break match’; time to get a snack. Now we have completely changed that perception; I feel we have set the bar so high that a women’s match is a ‘can’t miss’. So the pressure is on us to keep the standard high; people expect us women to steal the show and we have to live up to that. The next stop is to one day headline WrestleMania.”
What is your ultimate goal when you walk into the ring?
“Steal the show every single night. I want the WWE Universe to leave each show knowing that I gave my all.”
Do you still get nervous before a match?
“Every single time. There were two matches I wasn’t nervous for, and they were the worst matches ever. Every time I get the butterflies I thank God.”
Do you think Becky Lynch will become WWE Women’s Champion in 2016?
