Samoa Joe has had a great run in NXT. Many people look at his time in “WWE developmental” and think that a veteran of his skill shouldn’t be held back in NXT when he could be on Raw or SmackDown.

However, he’s done wonders to help build the brand over the past year and a half before he comes to WWE’s main roster, which is apparently coming up very soon.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, the original plan for Joe was for him to debut on the main roster shortly after NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II.

The idea was that the loser of Joe vs. Nakamura would be moved to the main roster the same way Balor vs. Joe was earlier this year before the WWE Draft.

However, the plans for the rematch between Joe and Nakamura have delayed the former’s transition to the main roster, but it won’t be much longer for him. He’s expected to debut before the end of the year.

Although the recent report is claiming that WWE officials don’t know which brand Samoa Joe will be brought to, another recent report revealed that he’s likely to move to SmackDown.

Do you think Samoa Joe is ready to be moved to the main roster?
