Bayley and Alexa Bliss set for kendo stick match at Extreme Rules

Alexa Bliss and Bayley shimmying up a pole to grab a kendo stick so they can whip each other with it? Don’t mind if we do! “Extreme Rules” is going to be, well, extreme!

After Bayley interrupted another, “I want my title to be the goddess title,” moment from Alexa Bliss on tonight’s Raw, Bliss went crazy and put a kendo stick beat down on our favorite hugger.

After the beatdown Kurt Angle, probably one of our favorite RAW General Managers, announced that the Raw Women’s Championship would be up for grabs between Bayley and Bliss in a “Kendo Stick on a Pole” match at “Extreme Rules!”

After just writing an article about women in professional wrestling not just being pretty faces, I’m pretty stoked to see this match. I can’t tell you how much I love seeing strong women competitors take on different types of “specialty” matches! Bayley can work a brutal match when needed. Lets not forget, took on Sasha Banks in an “Iron Man” match back in NXT. She’s definitely going to push the Raw Women’s champion to a level of extreme we haven’t seen before — see what we did there? Not to be outdone, Bliss is definitely the ultimate bad girl! She’ll bring it for sure!
