These people still have to move. The world has kind of come to a standstill due to the Coronavirus but WWE is managing to be one of the few entertainment businesses still moving along. That offers a little relief to some people and that includes being able to make sure things stay interesting. In this case, that means changing some things up to keep the company moving. That seems to be the case again this weekend.
Over the last week, one of the bigger WWE stories has been the signing of Rob Gronkowski. While he has not officially signed with the company yet, it seems to be the likely case in the near future. That kind of a move changes the way things go in the company and it turns out that it is going to affect someone else. That move has already taken place and it was apparent on Friday.
According to PWInsider.com, Mojo Rawley has been moved to SmackDown from Monday Night Raw. Rawley appeared on this week’s SmackDown to hype up Gronkowski’s debut next week, with the move being a permanent one. Rawley was moved over to Monday Night Raw in the 2019 WWE Draft and won the 24/7 Title multiple times, with his last match taking place on the February 17 Monday Night Raw.
This man knows hype. Check out Rawley in action:
Opinion: I’m not sure how big of a deal Rawley’s move is, but at the same time, it is interesting that the wrestlers can seemingly move from show to the other at the drop of a hat. That could come up again later on and give the company a way out when they need to make a chance. Granted I’m not sure if WWE actually will do that, but it is on the table if they want to go there.
