That doesn’t sound good. We are less than five days away from the Royal Rumble and that means WWE is going to be looking back at the show’s rather long history. The Royal Rumble has been around since 1988 and there have been all kinds of moments and memories from the show and the match itself. One of the most memorable collection of moments comes in the namesake match’s ending and now we might be in for something new.
The ending to the Royal Rumble is often one of the most memorable parts of the match because it sets so many things up for the future. That ending is often going to set up the main event of WrestleMania, but it is also unique in that it is not going to end with a normal pinfall or submission. Somehow you have to get someone over the top rope to end the match and now WWE seems to have a new idea in mind.
The WrestleVotes Twitter account is reporting that WWE is considering a finish to the men’s Royal Rumble that “scares the death” out of the source. There are no further details but WWE is said to be heavily considering the finish. There is also no word about who would be involved in the finish or who the planned winner of the match will be. For the fourth year in a row, this year’s Royal Rumble will feature both a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match.
Sorry for the lack of details here but still noteworthy IMO; had a brief conversation earlier with a source regarding the Men’s Royal Rumble match. They said quote:
“There’s a finish that scares the death out of me. And it’s legitimately getting heavy consideration” yikes.

I guess it won’t be one of these. Check out some of the best Royal Rumble endings:
Opinion: Given how things have been going as of late in WWE, I’m almost scared to imagine what they might have in mind. This sounds like something related to the Fiend or Randy Orton, who have been a lot more violent and destructive as of late. The Royal Rumble should not be a match that needs some big over the top finish but it seems that WWE is more interested in something like that than anything else at the moment.
