Come on over? AEW has shaken up the wrestling world, as WWE now has some serious competition for the first time in a long while. That is the kind of thing that can make things better for both fans and wrestlers, the latter of whom now have a new place to go. Some wrestlers have already made the jump in the hope of greener pastures, and now we might be seeing it again.

There are so many wrestlers in WWE who do not have much to do and are often stuck sitting around for weeks if not months at a time. This can be incredibly frustrating for fans but it is bound to happen with so many wrestlers available. Therefore it can be rather appealing when you hear about a wrestler possibly making a jump and that is the case with a rather unused star.

AEW star Dax Harwood recently responded to a tweet talking about how AEW needs to sign current WWE star Chad Gables. Harwood said that fans have no idea how good Gable is and hopefully Gable would soon be able to show the world. Gable has been part of the main roster since 2016 but has rarely been used outside of comedy angles in recent years. He has most recently been paired with Otis as part of the Alpha Academy. There is no word on when Gable’s WWE contract is up or if he is interested in jumping to AEW.

Opinion: This is one of those things that could be rather interesting if it happens, but it is way too early to know if it is actually going to happen yet. Gable is a former Olympian and has more charisma than he knows what to do with, so having him move over would be nice to see, though things like this do not have a guaranteed success rate. I wouldn’t be opposed to the idea, but that doesn’t mean it is a good one.
