The competition loses another. Over the years, WWE has run various incarnations of the show “Tough Enough”. The reality series is designed to find the next WWE Superstar, though the results haven’t exactly been great. The most recent series had a men’s and women’s champion, but the women’s champion was released last year. Now she’s going to have someone to join her.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE has released “Tough Enough” Season Six winner Josh Bredl. This isn’t the biggest surprise as Bredl has been out with concussion issues and hasn’t wrestled a match since July 2016, nor has he been training at the Performance Center. Bredl has only wrestled less than ten matches in his entire WWE career.
Here’s Bredl’s final tryout match before being signed.

Opinion: Can we please just retire “Tough Enough” already? There have been ten winners over the years and one has had any kind of significant success. Only John Hennigan has gone on to do much on the main roster (you might be able to argue Maven had success if you stretch really hard) and none of the last four winners have even made it to the main roster whatsoever. The show might be great at finding non-winners but the victory itself goes nowhere.
