It’s not working. With so many people on the WWE’s active rosters, there are going to be some changes every now and then. That is the kind of thing that you have to expect and it is not always a bad thing. Wrestlers are going to be moved up and down the card at various times, especially if they fall into or out of favor. The latter seems to be the case at the moment, as a wrestler is not in the best of graces again.

The SmackDown women’s division is kind of in a weird place at the moment. They have Bayley and Sasha Banks dominating the top spots and that does not exactly leave much room for others to get involved. That can be quite frustrating as there are some very talented wrestlers on the same roster, but one of them is not being as well received by the boss.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon has given up on pushing Lacey Evans. Over the last few weeks, Evans has mainly served as someone to be attacked by Alexa Bliss when she goes into her trance inspired by Bray Wyatt. Evans was once thought of as the next star of the division and even main evented Extreme Rules 2019, though she never won the Women’s Title.

She is quite the talented star. Check out what Evans can do:

Opinion: This isn’t exactly surprising and that’s rather depressing. Evans is someone who seems to be multiple characters mixed into one. She is a former Marine, she is a tough mom, she is a southern belle and now she is being presented as the stereotypical Karen. That is WAY too much for one wrestler to be and it is no surprise that she has lost her way with so many things going on at once. Hopefully things settle down, but I’m not sure if I can see that actually taking place.

What do you think of Evans? How should she be presented? Let us know in the comments below.
