Card subject to change. We are coming up on Clash Of Champions in just a few hours but there is still time for things to be shaken up. The show is built around the idea of all titles being on the line, but that might be a bit more difficult than it sounds. You never know when you might see a match changed and that seems to be the case at the moment in more than one case.
Women’s wrestling has come a very long way in WWE and there is still all kinds of room to grow. With so many talented women on the roster, it is a great sign to see so many titles available for women to fight over. It has made for some great moments and that is hopefully going to be the case for years to come. However, that might not be the case with the upcoming pay per view.
According to Post Wrestling, two matches have been removed from Clash Of Champions. First, Nikki Cross will not be challenging Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Second, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler will not be defending the Women’s Tag Team Titles against the Riott Squad. There is no word on why these matches will not be happening, though WWE is still advertising both matches on its website.
The matches had some potential. Check out how they were looking:
Opinion: I’m not sure what happened here but it’s rarely a good sign to see wrestlers off of a show. This could be multiple issues and most of the potential options are not good. Hopefully everyone involved is healthy, which is the most important detail of the whole situation. Odds are we’ll get at least one replacement match so maybe things can look up a bit.
