The signing spree continues. WWE has the deepest talent pool in the world with a ridiculous number of names both on their main roster and down in NXT. It seems to be growing all the time and another signing has only made the depth stronger. This was expected for a while but it’s now official.
WWE.com has announced that Lio Rush has officially been signed. Rush is a former CZW World Champion who spent most of his career in Ring of Honor, where he was the 2016 Top Prospect Tournament winner. He’s 22 years old and is a gifted high flier, despite only standing 5’6 and weighing 160lbs.
Here’s Rush winning the Top Prospect Tournament.

Opinion: While I think a direct main roster call-up would be a stretch, it’s hard to imagine waiting long for Rush to be on “205 Live” and a top star in the division. He’s an incredible athlete and can move around faster than so many talents in the world at the moment. It’s a very nice signing for WWE as their talent pool manages to get even deeper.
