Little too fast there. One of the things that WWE is most known for is their digital presence. They are all over the internet in every outlet that they can have and it makes a big difference. WWE knows how to get its product and information out there and that can be very beneficial. That is not always the case though and this week it caused a bit of a problem.
WWE has been in trouble with its television ratings for a good while now and something clearly needs to change. That is an issue the company has been trying to work on over the last few weeks but it is a little bit easier said than done. One of their biggest ideas is to throw something new out there and see if it works, which is what they did this week. However, WWE jumped the gun just a little bit.
According to Fightful Select, WWE released too much information about their newly debuting faction before this week’s Monday Night Raw. WWE’s official preview for the show mentioned that a new faction but other than a quick scene of the group destroying a power generator, nothing else was revealed or shown about them. The preview information was included after news of the stable began to leak before the show.
The group certainly started with a bang. Check out their debut and the debuts of some big teams:
Opinion: I’m not sure what to think of this, but it continues to come off like WWE has no idea what they are doing from one week to another. You could think that they would have a better hand on this kind of thing, especially on a taped show. WWE seems to be throwing everything together at the last second more often than not and that is going to catch up to them sooner or later.
