Take two. In the main event of last week’s “Monday Night Raw”, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns to make Jericho the United States Champion. Reigns lost the title clean to a heel but the crowd reaction would suggest otherwise. However, WWE doesn’t seem to agree with what happened.

In a new video, a side by side comparison of the original crowd reaction and the version shown during a recap the following week shows that things are a big different. Originally a fan was shown celebrating Jericho’s win but the new version shows the same fan disappointed by Reigns losing. The video can be seen by clicking here.

This wouldn’t be the first time WWE was accused of altering fans’ reactions to something Reigns did as there were accusations of the crowd noise being turned down during his heavily booed entrance at “Wrestlemania XXXII”.

If this is true, my goodness WWE is looking worse and worse every single week. Reigns just isn’t popular with the fans and there’s almost no way around it. For some reason WWE has decided that he’s the focal point of the show despite there being very limited support for such a push. Reigns has fans but nowhere near enough to validate this kind of a push. He’s a talented performer but the need to change things like this shows that something is very wrong.

Were you happy Reigns lost the title? What would you do to fix his issues? Let us know in the comments below.
