That’s another place to go. WWE is a global wrestling company and that means one of the most important things they can do is expand further throughout the world. That means bringing their product to as many places as possible, but in WWE’s case, that can mean having a satellite promotion under the NXT banner. Now we might know WWE’s next target area.
The NXT brand is one of the more interesting ideas that WWE has had. Not only does it include a good weekly wrestling show, both in the United States and the United Kingdom at the moment, but it also includes the local Performance Center, which serves as the company’s training facility. That is quite the asset for any location and WWE may have a new area in mind.
During the media call after NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day, Triple H mentioned the possibility of an NXT Latino brand, saying WWE could be close to establishing one. There is no word on when such a thing could come together, but it would depend on various conditions around the world. Triple H cited the amount of Latino stars in WWE today, saying they could come together as their own brand. This comes after WWE has made inroads towards an NXT India.
Opinion: This is something that makes a lot of sense and I could see why WWE would want to go in such a direction. There is certainly an audience for the product and there is nothing wrong with trying to get your foot in the door of another major market. It makes sense to want to try and get as many eyes on your product as possible and WWE has the resources to make something like this work.
