Uh oh. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any given wrestler as they can happen to anyone at any time. Some injuries are of course much worse than others and one of the worst parts is waiting to find out just how bad something it. You never know how long it might be before someone else can get back in the ring and now we might be asking that question again.

One of the most pleasant surprises of 2020 was the rise of the Hurt Business, who rose from nothing to as good of a heel stable as WWE has seen in at least a few years. A lot of this was due to the inclusion of MVP, who was absolutely perfect in the role as the team’s mouthpiece who would occasionally get in the ring. Unfortunately it might be a bit before he gets to do that again.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, MVP was injured in a six man tag during this week’s Monday Night Raw. MVP was noticeably limping during the match and was helped to the back when cameras weren’t on him, though he tried to walk on his own when he was being filmed. He appeared on crutches during Raw Talk but the injury was not referenced. According to PWInsider.com, MVP is on his way to Birmingham, Alabama for an examination on his injury.

Opinion: I’m not sure what to make of this as we don’t know the extent of the injury just yet, but this does not sound good. MVP has been outstanding during his time in the Hurt Business and it would be a shame to see him have to take some serious time off for any reason. The only silver lining is that MVP could still do the team’s talking without getting in the ring, assuming that is a realistic option.
