New direction? We are less than a week away from WWE’s annual Money In The Bank event and that means the briefcases are going to be up for grabs. Those cases can be complete game changers for a wrestler’s career and even getting a spot in one of the two matches can be a big deal. Winning one is an almost guaranteed ticket to the top and now we know someone who might be on their way up the literal and proverbial ladder.

According to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, there have been “internal pitches” in WWE to give Logan Paul the men’s Money In The Bank briefcase. The idea behind the move would be to add publicity and bring more eyes in to the company. This comes after LA Knight and Damian Priest have been the favorites to win the briefcase for several weeks. Money In The Bank takes place on July 1 from the 02 Arena in London, England.
While LA Knight and Damien Priest are the current favorites to win the upcoming Money In The Bank match, there have been internal pitches to give the win to Logan Paul.

Opinion: I would certainly hope that this isn’t the case, as while I can get the appeal of Paul winning, it would work that much better to have Knight holding the briefcase. The fans have been ready to cheer Knight for a long time now and having him literally three seconds away from winning at any time is a great possibility. Go with what has been set up, not what might be a good idea.
