Women’s Title Match Set for Next Week’s “Smackdown Live”

Sometimes you feel the glow and sometimes the glow loses again. Naomi has become one of the most improved stars of the “Smackdown Live” women’s division. The Glow character has caught on and is a heck of an entrance to go with Naomi’s already natural athleticism. The question now though is can she become a three time Women’s Champion.

As announced last week on “Smackdown Live”, Naomi will challenge current Smackdown Women’s Champion Natalya for the title on the September 12 episode from Las Vegas. Natalya defeated Naomi to win the title back in August at “Summerslam 2017”. At the same time, Carmella and her Money in the Bank briefcase are lurking around as well.

Opinion: This match doesn’t have the most hype, but it certainly feels like they’re setting up for a cash-in, which wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world. What I don’t want though is to have Naomi win the title and then lose it five minutes later. Having these inflated title reigns gets annoying in a hurry and another one wouldn’t be a good idea.
