What better way to celebrate the holiday season then with your favorite superstars kicking each other’s butts?

WWE.com announced earlier this week that “Raw” will be broadcasting live shows on both Christmas, December 25, and New Years nights, January 1, 2018. According to the article:

This marks the first time that WWE will present Monday night’s hottest show live on the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. These unprecedented broadcasts aim to best serve you, the WWE Universe, during the holiday season. Additionally, SmackDown will be broadcast live on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

Happy Holidays from WWE

In previous years that both Christmas and New Year’s fell on Monday nights, the company would tape an episode of “Raw” within a week or two leading up to the holiday.

Editor’s Note:

I’m not sure how I feel about this. I completely understand that these will be special shows and the company will do something great for all of the fans in attendance. However, WWE employees are people too and deserve to spend time with their families and friends. They’re on the road for 250+ days a year, and hardly get to see the people that are most important in their lives.
