An old challenger approaches. Jinder Mahal wont he Smackdown World Title match back in May and has somehow held onto it for the better part of four months. It would seem that it would be a matter of time before he lost the title but he’s dispatched both major challengers so far. Now though, one of them is getting another shot.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Randy Orton with the Kinshasa to earn the next shot at Mahal, which will take place at “Hell in a Cell 2017”. Nakamura previously faces Mahal for the title at “Summerslam 2017” but was defeated due to interference by the Singh Brothers.

Here’s part of the Mahal vs. Nakamura rivalry.

Shinsuke Nakamura confronts Jinder Mahal: SmackDown LIVE, Aug. 29, 2017

Opinion: This was the only possible way to go as I don’t think there was any interest in yet another Orton vs. Mahal match. Nakamura was ripped off in his previous match and seems to be the perfect choice to take the title off of Mahal. The match might even be entertaining for a change.

Do you think Nakamura takes the title from Mahal? If not, who does? Let us know in the comments below.
