He’s always been a little off. Love him or hate him, Vince McMahon runs the wrestling industry. He is the most powerful man in all of the sport and that is not going to change anytime in the near future. Any decision that he makes can chance the course of the business itself, or on a smaller scale, the career of any given wrestler. Therefore, it’s understandable that wrestlers can be worried about what he thinks, especially in a bad situation.

Being live entertainment, wrestling is the kind of sport where anything can happen at any given time. There is a rigid script for the wrestlers to follow, but that does not mean everything will wind up working out as expected. Sometimes there is going to be a mistake and one of them was a pretty big deal on live television. You may be surprised at McMahon’s reaction.

Former WWE Superstar Kaitlyn was recently a guest on Ring The Belle where she told a story about accidentally winning a battle royal to become #1 contender to the Divas Championship. During the match, Kaitlyn accidentally clotheslined Eve Torres, who was scheduled to win, out to the floor to win. After the match, Kaitlyn went to the back where McMahon was waiting on her and laughed hysterically. Kaitlyn did not get in any trouble for what happened.

That’s something that can only happen in wrestling. Check out Kaitlyn’s story and the battle royal in question:

Opinion: What else are you supposed to do in a situation like this? Kaitlyn didn’t do anything completely wrong and she didn’t do it on purpose. That’s the kind of thing that you don’t get to see happen very often and thankfully McMahon didn’t seem to blame her for it. Kaitlyn was someone who did some good things in the ring and we might even see her again someday.
