They don’t waste Time. One of the biggest stories of the week was the surprise callups of Ricochet, Aleister Black, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. The four of them made some sudden appearances on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, meaning NXT was getting a lot more talk in a hurry. They weren’t the only callups this year, and one of the earlier ones doesn’t seem to be so lucky.
According to the Wrestling Observer, EC3 is may be considered “DOA” (dead on arrival) on the main roster. EC3 was one of the five NXT callups from earlier this year and has since traded wins with Dean Ambrose on Monday Night Raw. Despite making several appearances on the shows, EC3 has yet to actually say a word. EC3 was not on this week’s Monday Night Raw.
Since he didn’t last that long. Check out one of EC3’s happier days:
Opinion: This is one of those things that makes WWE look really bad. They brought this guy up with little reason other than to make a splash, have him wrestle a few nothing matches, don’t let him talk to show off his natural charisma, and then give up on him? What in the world was EC3 supposed to do when his two matches didn’t combine to last seven minutes? I have no idea how this can be WWE’s stance and I really hope this isn’t the case.
What did you think of EC3? How should WWE use him? Let us know in the comments below.
