You mean that didn’t draw? Last night saw the end of the first taping cycle of the new “Impact Wrestling”. Everything has changed around there and that means the audience should have changed as well. The big story this time around was a battle between the announcers with Josh Matthews and Jeremy Borash both picking teams for an eight team tag. The question was how that drew.
According to 411mania.com,
the show drew 302,000 viewers, down 2% from last week’s 309,000. The TV rating of .07 was also slightly down from last week’s .08. While down from last week, the viewership is still up from the March 30 episode, which drew 297,000 viewers with a main event of new Tag Team Champions being crowned.
Opinion: Yeah imagine that: battling announcers don’t draw very well. With almost everything tied into that eight man tag, there was only so much that you’re going to get out of it. The whole thing really was just about Matthews vs. Borash and that’s not going to do enough to draw in a run of the mill crowd.
