There’s a good reason. Wrestling has changed a lot over the years, especially in the last few years. One of the biggest ways has been the rise of social media, as wrestlers are now able to communicate with their fans like never before. This is a great way to interact with the people but not everything works out for the best. That was the situation this weekend when things got a bit weird.
Over the weekend, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long went on a blocking spree on Twitter, cutting off a large portion of wrestlers who followed him on the platform. Several wrestlers seemed surprised by the situation and Long changed his account to private. Long later released a video, announcing that his Twitter had indeed been hacked and that he didn’t want anyone to be mad at him. He also promised to explain more about the situation later.

That explains things. Check out what Long had to say:
Opinion: That’s a lot more logical, as long comes off as one of the most likable guys in all of wrestling so him going nuts and blocking everyone in sight was rather out of character for him. There was a logical explanation for what happened and thankfully Long should be able to get control back over everything sooner rather than later. This is something that can happen unfortunately and Long seems to be the latest victim.
What was the best part of Long’s career? Will he work for WWE again? Let us know in the comments below.
