They would be different. Tag team wrestling has a weird history in WWE as the company has rarely been huge on pushing it. Instead, teams are often put together for the sole purpose of splitting them up later. That is certainly not the case with the top team in the company at the moment though, as the Usos are approaching the record for longest Tag Team Title reign in company history. They need some fresh challengers, and now a new team might be stepping up.

Following this week’s SmackDown, Mace of the Maximum Male Models tweeted out a picture of the team with both sets of Tag Tam Titles Photoshopped onto them. While not specifically stated, this could suggest that the team is coming after the Usos’ championships. The Maximum Male Models made their in-ring debut as a team on the August 26 SmackDown and have yet to win a match.

Opinion: I’m not sure I can imagine the Maximum Male Models being presented as a threat, either serious or exaggerated, against the Usos. Successful teams are barely seen as a threat to them and that wouldn’t exactly apply here. Hopefully WWE can find someone a bit more serious to come after the belts, because this idea seems to be more of a joke than anything else.

What do you think of the idea? Who will take the titles from the Usos? Let us know in the comments below.
