Welcome and welcome back. WWE already has several wrestlers on its main roster, but on top of that it has another batch entirely down in NXT. That gives WWE quite the variety of choices for wrestlers in one place or another and they will often move around. In some cases that means from the injured list to the active roster, which seems to be the case again with an NXT star.

Two NXT stars appeared on this week’s SmackDown, as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre/Isla Dawn (members of the SmackDown roster) defeated Valentina Feroz/Yulisa Leon. This was Feroz and Leon’s first matches on the main roster of any kind. It was also Leon’s first match since August 2022 as she has been out of action with a knee injury. Opinion: Given the nature of the match, it would suggest that this isn’t going to be a permanent call up for Leon and Feroz, but just getting up to the main roster in any fashion is rather impressive. If nothing else, the fact that Leon is back in the ring is a good sign, as she was out of action for the better part of a year and had quite the comeback to make to even get this far.
