Not This Time: Top WWE Star To Miss Monday Night Raw

He’ll need a note for work. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and it can be difficult to keep track of everything that everyone is doing. That can cause some of them to slip through the cracks every so often, though that is strange for a bigger name. Now it is happening again, though this time he has quite the valid excuse for missing an upcoming Monday Night Raw.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Seth Rollins is appearing in the upcoming Captain America: New World Order film. This is why he only appeared on Monday Night Raw in a pre-taped segment. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rollins will also be missing next week’s Monday Night Raw, which will be the final episode before Night Of Champions. Rollins is scheduled to face AJ Styles for the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship at the event.

Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to happen every so often and in this case, I can’t imagine WWE would have any issue with Rollins missing a week for the sake of having Rollins appear in such a film. Rollins is one of the biggest stars in WWE and very well could be World Champion in just over a week. Tying that into a major film is something that will make both Rollins and WWE look good, so everyone seems to win at the moment.
