He’s next? At WWE Night Of Champions, Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion. The title has since been described as the workhorse title, with Rollins talking about being willing to defend against all opponents. Now someone seems interested in taking him up on that, even if it might not be the most expected.

This week’s NXT ended with former NXT Champion Bron Breakker challenging Rollins to come to NXT to defend the title against him. Breakker said that he was the most dominant NXT Champion of all time while Rollins was the first NXT Champion, so he should know what NXT is all about. There is no word on if Rollins will accept the challenge or if he will be coming to NXT to face Breakker.

Opinion: This is something that could be interesting, for a variety of reason. If nothing else, Rollins returning to NXT would add some more star power to the show and that is always going to help. At the same time, it opens up the idea of multiple people getting title shots, while also having Breakker get a chance to face one of the biggest names in WWE today.
