There’s a reason for that. With so many wrestler on the payroll, WWE has been able to put together three different rosters between Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and NXT. While the wrestlers stay in the same place most of the time, they will occasionally cross over. That is the case again with two names who made surprise appearances last week, and now we know some more about them.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Yes Him: WWE Reportedly Impressed By Superstar’s Recent Work

Mustafa Ali and Baron Corbin made surprise appearances last week on NXT. According to Fightful Select, this has been planned for quite some time, as WWE wanted the two of them to appear on the show. Some NXT wrestlers had requested Ali appear, which Ali willingly agreed to do. The two were brought to NXT for a variety of reasons, including giving NXT some extra star power, allowing NXT wrestlers to face main roster wrestlers and to let the two of them reset a bit. Both are expected to be in NXT for the time being, but could appear on the main roster as needed.

The two made a splash. Check out what they have done so far:

Opinion: All of this makes a lot of sense, as there is something to be said about putting WWE stars who aren’t doing anything in NXT for a bit. What does WWE have to lose here? Ali and Corbin aren’t doing anything on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown so let them go somewhere and maybe figure out something new. It’s a good idea that has worked before, so let’s just see how it goes.

What do you think of the idea? Which of the two will do better in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
