The pre-party party. With WWE entering the biggest season of the year, it’s time for Monday Night Raw to pick up the pace a little bit. That can mean throwing out some big moments on television, such as a cameo or a big match. That’s the case this coming Monday, as not only will Roman Reigns make an appearance, but Ric Flair will be celebrating his 70th birthday. Since it’s Flair though, the party started early.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, there was a special surprise party held for Flair in Atlanta, Georgia, with a variety of wrestlers and sports stars in attendance. The guests included Triple H, Chris Jericho, Ricky Steamboat, Todd Gurley, Charles Barkley and Shane McMahon among others. The party included a video showing a Flair vs. Steamboat match on a big screen, which Flair and Steamboat watched throughout the night.
And of course there’s video. Check out Flair arriving and see a lot of the guests:
Opinion: This is just cool to see as Flair really does have a famous group of friends. I mean, he talked about them enough in those great promos over the years. The WWE version on Monday Night Raw should be a lot of fun with the guest list there being more than enough to carry everything. Flair is a true legend and deserves all of the attention that he gets in a situation like this.
