So long and see you again soon. Earlier this week, four NXT names arrived on the main roster in a heck of a surprise. Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and Ricochet all showed up on Monday Night Raw and did it again on SmackDown Live. These appearances came out of nowhere but now it seems that one of them might be leaving Orlando for good.
In a new video from an NXT house show over the weekend, Black seems to say goodbye to NXT, though he does not flat out say that he is gone. Black spoke of his time in NXT and how it would always be his home, even after such a crazy week that saw him debut on the main roster shows. Black debuted in NXT in 2017 at Takeover: Orlando and won the NXT Title a year later at Takeover: New Orleans.
Well, what else would I show here? Check out what seem to be Black’s farewell comments:
Opinion: If this is it for Black, I can’t say I’m surprised. He’s done almost everything there is for him to do in developmental and he’s ready for the main roster (has been for a long time actually). Let him move up to the main roster and show off his talents on the bigger stage. It’s not like he has anything to do down there anyway so let him go out with one more big match, likely against the Undisputed Era.
Do you want Black to leave? What should his last match down there be? Let us know in the comments below.
