On Friday, Chris Hero, 43 years old, defeated Timothy Thatcher in his first match in three and a half years. The match was promoted by West Coast Pro Wrestling at their Whiplash event in San Francisco, California. Opinion: It’s nice to see someone like Hero getting back in the ring and still looking completely decent (at worst) in the ring. Hero is someone who has been around forever and has wrestled all over the world. It would be nice to see him getting one more run in a bigger promotion but if he is happy getting to do something like this, there is absolutely nothing wrong with sticking around on the west coast.
