She’s in. There are all kinds of stables in WWE and that has been the case for decades. The company has had a variety of teams with different members doing different things. That can lead to a variety of major matches, some of which require a lot of people taking part at the same time. We are seeing one of those later this month and now a team has expanded to make that work.

Last week on SmackDown, Asuka turned on Charlotte and Bianca Belair before forming an unofficial alliance with Damage CTRL. On this week’s show, Asuka was officially invited to join the team, which she accepted. This came as Dakota Kai said that one of the people involved was not an official member of the team, which seemed to have Bayley worried. Asuka will be part of the team as they participate in WarGames at Survivor Series on November 25.

The team is getting a big addition. Check out what Asuka adds to Damage CTRL:

Opinion: This felt like a bit more than a formality, though it does change things up a bit as Drew McIntyre has not officially done the same thing with Judgment Day despite having a similar alliance. It makes things feel that much more serious and hopefully long term, which offers a different twist. For now, Asuka is a heck of an addition to the team and we’ll see where things go from here.
