It’s the big one. There are certain matches that stand out over the course of time and that will always be the case. At the end of the day, some things just get your attention and keep it more than others and that is the case for a variety of reasons. There are a few reasons that such a match sticks out and one of them is the stage it takes place on. WWE is looking at the biggest stage of them all.
With less than a month to go before WrestleMania 37, it is time to start looking both forward to the show as well as back at the history. WrestleMania has been around for a very long time now and there has been a lot of history throughout the event’s run. While there have been a lot of different famous parts to the show, the main event is at the top of the list, and now WWE is putting some of them in order.
This will get some people talking. Check out WWE’s Top Ten WrestleMania Main Events:
WWE has released a new Top Ten video, looking at the ten greatest WrestleMania main events in company history. The countdown includes matches from over the course of thirty years, with the majority of them being for either the WWE Title or the World Heavyweight Title. There are also two triple threat matches on the list, with the rest of the entries being singles matches.
Opinion: This is the kind of list that will be causing a lot of disagreements and for a very good reason. Above all else, not having the Rock vs. Steve Austin II from WrestleMania 17 is a very strange choice. Maybe it is due to another one of their matches being on the show, but that is quite the omission. No list is going to be universal, but that is kind of a hard one to turn down.
