When generations collide. WWE has been around for a very long time now and as a result, there is a lot of history to the company. There have been all kinds of wrestlers, matches and moments that stand out over the years and most of the history can be divided into eras. You can probably remember the names of some of these eras, but now they are being merged together in a pretty cool way.
This week’s edition of SmackDown was billed as a Throwback edition, featuring a focus on the history of the show. The show included famous moments from the show’s history and a digital version of the fist logo. As a bonus to the show itself, WWE has released a version of the Ruthless Aggression version of the SmackDown theme from 2006 with clips of the modern roster. WWE has done similar things for various milestone episodes of television shows in the past.
This is pretty great. Check out what WWE has put together for different occasions:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that I can always go for and that is a cool thing to see. If there is one thing that WWE is great at, it is putting together some amazing productions and they made it work here, again. There are so many different eras to cover over the history of WWE television that there are all kinds of ways to present the same things. That is what they did here and it worked out rather well.
