Welcome back. There are a lot of reasons a wrestler might miss time from the ring, and unfortunately one of them is an injury. Someone getting hurt can throw a huge monkey wrench in their careers as you don’t know when you are going to see them again. There are even some injuries that are going to keep someone out longer than expected, but the return can be rather awesome. That was the case during this week’s SmackDown.

Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and Jey Uso opened this week’s edition of SmackDown. Reigns said that Daniel Bryan was being replaced following his loss last week, which led to Reigns bringing out Jimmy Uso. This marks Jimmy’s first appearance since WrestleMania 36, when he suffered a knee injury in a ladder match against John Morrison and Kofi Kingston, which required surgery.

It is not clear if Jimmy and Jey will resume teaming now that they are both active. In Jimmy’s absence, Jey has turned into a singles wrestler, including main eventing Clash Of Champions and winning the 2021 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. There is no word on when Jimmy will be back in the ring. The Usos are six time Tag Team Champions in WWE.

You might have forgotten about him. Check out Uso in the ring while he was healthy:

FULL MATCH - Morrison vs. Kingston vs. Uso - SmackDown Tag Team Titles Ladder Match: WrestleMania 36

FULL MATCH - The Usos vs. The New Day - SmackDown Tag Team Titles Match: WWE Fastlane 2018

Opinion: This is the kind of a return that could make a difference, if nothing else for the sake of having one of the best teams in WWE back at full strength. The Usos have been around forever and have one of the best resumes in WWE tag team history. Putting them out there is going to be a very good thing and hopefully we get some of the team’s previous greatness.

What are you expecting from the return? Is Jey better as a singles or tag wrestler? Let us know in the comments below.
