You need some fresh blood. WWE is like any other wrestling company, in that they need to add some fresh faces to their roster at some point. Wrestlers might get hurt, someone might leave the company for one reason or another or the roster might just need to be freshened up a little bit. That is the kind of thing they seem to be doing at the moment and this time it’s a double.

WWE has announced that two new stars will make their debuts during this week’s edition of 205 Live. The two starts will be in different matches, with Ikemen Jiro teaming with August Grey to face Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese, while Ari Sterling will face Samir Singh in a singles match. Both were signed to WWE in December but have yet to appear on any television show.

Jiro has wrestled in Japan as Sojiru “Ikemen” Higuchi in All Japan and Wrestle-1 and was trained by former WWE star Tajiri. Sterling is formerly known as Alex Zayne and has wrestled for fifteen years now, with stops in Ring of Honor and Game Changer Wrestling. There is no word on if they will be permanent members of the 205 Live roster or if they will be heading to NXT.

Opinion: As glad as I am to see some new wrestlers showing up, I’m much happier with the two of them showing up on 205 Live. The show has been needing some fresh names for a long time now and maybe these two can do the trick. I’m hoping that they stick around for more than just one week because 205 Live really does need a few new wrestlers. At the very least, I’ll take it for one week.
