VIDEO: Vince Russo Makes Claims He Consulted On Monday Night Raw From 2020-2022

He was back? Wrestling has been around for a very long time now and there is quite the history throughout. That includes a variety of names who have been around the industry for a long time, some of whom are more popular than others. Like any other sport, there are going to be some names who are more controversial than others and now one of them seems to have been involved in wrestling behind the scenes.

In a new video posted to his YouTube page, former WWE writer Vince Russo revealed that he served as a consultant to the USA Network for Monday Night Raw for two years. This would have taken place from 2020-2022, with Russo suggesting that he was no longer serving in the role. Russo said that he would speak with the USA Network weekly about the show and knew what the network wanted from Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: This wouldn’t be the biggest surprise as the time period Russo is implying had some of the most off the wall moments and out there ideas that Monday Night Raw has seen in a very long time. Your take on Russo may vary, but he does have a tendency to be able to stick around in wrestling. That may or may not be a good thing, but he certainly does find a way to hang in there.
