Not so fast? There are a lot of moving parts to WWE and a good deal of that includes giving the wrestlers something to do. Some of those instances are easier than others, with wrestlers needing storylines to keep things going. That can mean moving from one place to another at times, but now a pair of moves might be on hold as one of the wrestlers has been injured.

Earlier this week, WWE announced that Toxic Attraction was pulled from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title tournament due to an injury to Gigi Dolin. The injury took place during Toxic Attraction’s match against Natalya and Sonya Deville, leaving Natalya to work the match out for everyone else. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the injury caused a planned promotion to the main roster to be at least delayed if not outright canceled. The team had shot a video about how they were going to take over SmackDown, but it has since been removed. There is no word on when or if the promotion will still take place.

Opinion: I would certainly hope that this is a delay rather than a cancellation, as a match falling apart because of an injury is something that is going to happen on occasion. It isn’t fair, or smart for that matter, to change plans on such a big scale due to one thing happening that very well may have been beyond Dolin’s control. Toxic Attraction has nothing left to do in NXT so the move makes sense, but it might take some time to actually happen.

What do you think of the team? How would they do on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
