What are you doing here? NXT has become a place where wrestlers can thrive and become some of the biggest stars in the business today. That may not always translate onto the main roster though, as some wrestlers just don’t fit in well up there. What about the opposite though? What about main roster wrestlers who come down to NXT? It hasn’t happened as much lately, but back in the day it certainly did.

WWE has released a Top Five list looking at Superstars You Didn’t Know Appeared In NXT. Most of these are from back in the older days, even back before the WWE Network was in existence. Some of them did take place on the regular NXT TV show while others were were for the live crowd but filmed. There is a mixture of matches and interviews, with a few you might not have seen before.

Opinion: This is rather fascinating to me as it really does show how much NXT has taken on a life of its own. You almost never see the main roster talent down there anymore because NXT doesn’t need the help at this point. Unfortunately that can cause a problem as a lot of main roster talent could use some time off the big show, just for the chance to see what they can do down in developmental to freshen themselves up a bit.
