It’s a Star Wars meme! Wrestling is, by definition, a physical sport. However, there’s a lot more to it than that as there’s also a mental aspect to the whole thing. Sometimes wrestlers need to do something to get inside their opponents’ heads, and on occasion this can lead to some traps being set to catch the other one off guard. That’s what WWE is looking at today.
You have to be careful. Sometimes wrestlers can get diabolical, just like they do in this awesome countdown:
WWE has released a new Top Ten video looking at Sinister Superstar Traps. This video looks back over the history of the company with entries from all over the and involves people being lured into traps, often by whomever they’re feuding with at the time. However, there are some entries from outside the company and at least one moment where the trap was set by someone’s partner.
Opinion: There are some awesome moments on here as the wrestlers can do some absolutely evil things to each other, which can make for the start of a great segment. Villains in wrestling can be absolutely horrible people as they know how to mess with people and then set up a big match down the line. There are some great ones in here and as you can see, it’s definitely a tale as old as time.
Which of these is your favorites? What did WWE leave off the list? Let us know in the comments below.
