Video: Top 5 Most Violent Chair Attacks

It’s the C in TLC. Later this month, WWE will be presenting its annual TLC event, focusing on tables, ladders and chairs. While there are long histories for tables and ladders, chairs have been used in wrestling for the better part of ever, as it is basically the stereotypical wrestling weapon no matter what goes on. But why don’t you often see a bunch of chair footage?

That’s not proper chair usage. Check out this Top 5 video, which is chock full of pain:

WWE has posted a new video on its Instagram page looking at the Top 5 Most Violent Attacks Using a steel chair. The video is exactly what it sounds like, but it includes a variety of moments involving chairs, many of which included a bunch of chairs at once. The selections aren’t always someone swinging a chair as several involve someone crashing into a chair.

Opinion: While there are several options in here that could have been better, it’s nice to see the C in TLC getting some attention for a change. Ladders and tables have more than enough history over the years while chairs, which have been used more than anything else, get almost none of the attention. I don’t need a chairs match, but at least it’s something that is being seen for a change.
