Welcome back. It seems that almost every week, you hear about another wrestler moving from one promotion to another. That is going to be the case for a long time to come, as there are going to be several wrestlers who can jump over to a better place or need to find work if they are let go by someone else. This took place again this week, though it was not exactly the same thing.
Earlier this month, the team formerly known as the Rascalz in Impact Wrestling debuted in NXT, now under the team name of MSK. The team, formerly known as Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier and now knows as Nash Carter and Wes Lee, started fast by winning their first round match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. However, the third member of the trio was missing and now we know where he wound up.
We’ve missed you. Check out a surprise return:
During this week’s Impact Wrestling, Trey Miguel made a surprise return in the main event, teaming with Tommy Dreamer/Rich Swann/Willie Mack to defeat Moose/Chris Bey/Sami Callihan/Ken Shamrock. This was Miguel’s first appearance since the November 17, 2020 episode and suggests that Miguel is staying with Impact Wrestling. There is no word on him re-signing with the company.
Opinion: This is a nice moment as having Miguel back opens a few new doors for Impact Wrestling. I liked a lot of what I saw from Miguel during his brief main event run last year so hopefully he gets another chance at that part of the card. Miguel is young, popular and talented. That should be enough to give him some kind of a chance to show what he can do, which is more than some people get.
