Back before the Revolution. One of the most important and major changes that we’ve seen in the last few years has been the rise of women’s wrestling. It has gone from a glorified side show to one of the most heavily featured parts of most WWE shows, as well as around the wrestling world. With that in mind, let’s take a look back at how things used to be.
WWE has posted the full version of Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella from “Summerslam 2014” onto its YouTube channel. This was part of a long running feud as McMahon went after Bella, the wife of the injured Daniel Bryan. The match is memorable for its finish, as well as McMahon’s level of dominance. Here’s the match.
FULL MATCH - Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon: SummerSlam 2014
Opinion: All I can think of when I watch that match is how awesome McMahon looked in the ring. She was nailing everything she did and looked completely dominant. However, it was the completely wrong decision as there was no reason for Bella to lose the match. Even if it was something as simple as a fluke rollup, she needed to win there and I have no idea why she lost, save for McMahon’s ego.
