A bizarre feel good story. Wrestling is in a weird place at the moment as things are changing almost every day. Takeover: XXX, Summerslam and All Out are both coming up in the next few weeks and things are starting to get a little closer to normal after the summer. Things are changing in a hurry, but one story might have slipped underneath your radar, including the happy ending.
NXT has seen a lot of new wrestlers getting some prominent spots over the last few months, including Shotzi Blackheart. Whether you like her or not, there is no one like her in NXT, as she has long green hair, drives to the ring in a tank, and has a big horned helmet. It turns out that the helmet is very important to her and was at the center of a pretty nice story over the course of the week.
On Monday, Blackheart reported on Twitter that her car had been stolen from outside her apartment. Blackheart’s wrestling gear bag was in the trunk, including her boots, entrance gear and helmet. The helmet was especially important to her, as it was hanging on the wall of her training facility and was given to her as a gift when she began her career. Blackheart has taken it around the world with her and was upset at losing it. On Wednesday, Blackheart posted a video to Twitter showing her car being found and most of her gear, including the helmet, was still inside. Blackheart was in her ring gear when she found her car.
Also my gear bag with all my gear, boots, entrance jacket and helmet were in the trunk. If you are wondering why I’m wrestling in street clothes and dont have my helmet that is why. https://t.co/S8agHtDmzd

This is just nice to see. Check out Blackheart’s emotional reunion:

Opinion: That’s a very cool moment and you can tell how much that helmet means to her. It’s terrible that her stuff was taken but everything seems to have been recovered (save for some damage to her car) to make it a happy ending for a change. That’s a great thing to see as you don’t get that kind of emotion off something as simple as a helmet very often. Good for her.
