Welcome back? Earlier this year, the SpeakOut Movement shook up a lot of things in the wrestling world was there were suddenly a lot of wrestlers facing some serious allegations. Some of these included criminal actions and that could mean careers ending in an instant. While some wrestlers are already back, there are a handful who never may return. As of Wednesday though, one of the bigger names mentioned in the movement is back.

The SpeakOut Movement hit almost every major promotion in the world in one way or another, including NXT. Probably the biggest name included from the promotion was the Velveteen Dream, who was accused of sending inappropriate message to underage fans. Dream claimed that his information and photos had been hacked, but he has not been around since losing to Adam Cole at Takeover: In Your House. Things can change in a hurry though and they did this week.

This week on NXT, Dream made his return as the surprise entrant in a triple threat qualifying match for the North American Title ladder match at Takeover: XXX. Dream lost the match to Cameron Grimes, but the since Dream did not take the fall, he is still eligible to compete in another match to earn a shot. While not confirmed, this would indicate that WWE has accepted Dream’s response to the allegations against him or has already punished him.

I guess he’s back for good. Check out some of Dream’s work from a less complicated time:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think of this one as I really did believe that Dream’s WWE career was over. Maybe he had some kind of evidence that proved his innocence, but that might be something we need to hear from WWE or even Dream himself. He was facing some serious allegations and they aren’t the kind of accusations you just sweep under the rug. I’m actually shocked that he’s back and I’m not sure if that’s a good thing.

Are you surprised that Dream is back? What will he do in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
