Now this is something I can get behind. WWE has had a lot of matches over the years. If you assume six matches per “Monday Night Raw”, you’re already looking at roughly 8,000. Throw in other TV, house shows and pay per view and it’s probably close to six figures. Now out of all those matches, wouldn’t it be interesting to hear what the actual wrestlers have to say about them?

WWE has released a video featuring Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose doing commentary for their “Hell in a Cell 2014” match. The two talk for just under nine minutes of the fourteen minute match so the majority is covered. The match headlined the show and ended when Bray Wyatt cost Ambrose the match. Here’s the video:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing I’d love to see as a featured idea on the WWE Network. We’re so used to hearing the WWE commentator version of what’s going on but it could be entertaining to hear from the people actually involved in the match for a change. I was hoping this would be the full thing but just a few minutes of such commentary is better than nothing.

Do you like this idea? Who would you like to do commentary on their own matches? Let us know in the comments below.
