That’s pretty clear. In a year with one story after another taking place, there may not have been one that moved faster than the story of Jordan Myles, formerly known as ACH. Earlier this month, Myles went on a Twitter rant about his official NXT shirt, which he said was racist and sent him into a tirade against WWE for selling such a shirt. He has not been seen on WWE TV since, though things eventually seemed to calm down and Myles’ absence from NXT was referred to as a medical issue. Then this happened.
On Wednesday, Myles posted a video to his Twitter account, including a profanity filled rant about how he was quitting WWE and would never work there again as he found the company to be racist and against people like him. He referred to Myles as his slave name and said he would be going by ACH again. There has been no response from WWE on Myles’ statement, but he was not done either.
Before we get to part two, there is the original. Check out Myles rant, but keep in mind that it is NOT safe for work and includes extensive profanity:
Myles posted a second video on Twitter (since deleted) with more detailed thoughts on the situation. He explained that he will no longer be working for WWE due to their racism and a lack of respect towards him. Secondly, Myles complained about a backstage mentality that was unfair to younger wrestlers, saying that older wrestlers were treated with more respect because they had been around longer and had more matches. Finally, he did not like the idea of having to bow down to WWE for the sake of money, saying that WWE will never slow his plans.
Some fans weighed in on Twitter and did not seem to be on Myles’ side:

I wanted to support you but I don’t feel like you went about this in the best way. I still want what’s best for my people in this business and country, but idk man. Wish you the best.

As a black man you were held back by being pushed all the way to a title shot against Adam Cole? Or is this still about the shirt you agreed to?

Opinion: Sweet goodness. I’ve seen some people burn their bridges before but this took it to another level. I can’t speak for whether or not Myles deserved to be this angry over what happened, but this was quite the extreme reaction. I’m not sure how many wrestling companies are going to work with him in the future either as how many are going to risk setting him off on something else like this? If this is where he wants to go with things so be it, though there may be some consequences down the line.
