Video: New Trailer for HBO’s Andre the Giant Documentary

This is a big one. To say Andre the Giant is a wrestling legend is an understatement. Every wrestler seems to have several Andre the Giant stories and they’re often some of the most entertaining things you’ll ever hear. That sounds like the recipe for a very fun film and as luck would have it, that’s what we’re getting in just a few months.

HBO has released a new trailer for its upcoming Andre the Giant documentary which will debut on April 10. The trailer includes interviews with Hulk Hogan, Jerry Lawler, Ric Flair and Vince McMahon and seems to focus on the problems Andre the Giant had with his health and dealing with his fame. Opinion: Oh yes. I mean, do I need to say anything else? It’s Andre the Giant getting a proper career and life retrospective. What could be more fun with wrestling. After the ESPN “30 For 30” film on Ric Flair, there’s an opening for more serious looks at some of the top names in the history of wrestling. Andre the Giant is one of the biggest legends in wrestling history (if not the biggest) and this should be a treat.
