Video: Mike and Maria Kanellis Comment on Victory

The power of winning. Mike and Maria Kanellis made their WWE debut as a couple at “Money in the Bank 2017” and haven’t exactly done much yet. That changed at least to a degree this week on “Smackdown Live” when Mike made his in-ring debut against Sami Zayn. The couple worked together to get the win, which wasn’t exactly clean.

After their match was over, the Kanellis family celebrated in the back and spoke with WWE cameras about the win. When asked if they were satisfied with the way they won the match, Mike said of course he was and Maria said that it was a victory for the power of love. Here’s the clip:

Opinion: Standard heel interview here and there’s nothing wrong with that. The Kanellis family isn’t the most interesting thing on paper but once they shake off the initial issues and turn the gimmick into something a bit stronger. Having Mike actually get into the ring is a start and a few longer matches with Zayn could help a lot.
